Pricing
3 min read
Commission only on completed orders.
How a marketplace charges determines which merchants can afford to try it.
Subscription pricing is predictable for the platform and hostile to the businesses that most need the product. A twelve-seat restaurant will not commit to a monthly fee for a channel it has not tested.
So there is no setup fee, no fixed cost, and no minimum term. Forsa earns a share of orders it actually generates, which means a quiet month costs a partner nothing.
If we only get paid when the merchant gets paid, we cannot be indifferent to whether their offers work.
It also disciplines us. A subscription business can tolerate an unused product for months. A commission business finds out immediately.
